Day 22.

my baby has now been latching so some feedings dont even need supplements. however she came down with a cold/virus and it allowed her to want to latch much longer sessions :) :( i feel fuller now vs before. im considering adding another supplement in addition to the domperidone..

I'm not pumping as much but she's latching and asking less by bottle

Morning pump.... 35ml :) a lil over an oz!!!!!!

Day 7

So i got my "friend" today.. idk how this will affect my output... but i did a marathon pump this evening bc i didnt get to pump so much today. 6-10 pm i pumped every hour for 10-15mins each side.... look at the out come...

Day 6

Day 6 and I'm checking innnnnnn....pumping total..... (.31 ml) butttt baby latched a total of 115 mins...... Wow!

Day 5

I'm taking this day by day. Baby has latched for a nursing session of 20 mins only taking 4.5oz by bottle when she normally takes 5.... sounds like the were getting somewhere. in begining this journey again... i expected miricles to happen.. and since they didnt i was discouraged. BUTTTT going from a few drops to .01, .05, .06... and once a whopping .08! it may not seem like much to some people but to go from not producing anything to seeing these liquid gold drops... makes me happier then a pig rolling in mud.... ok maybe not that happy :) hehe... sleep deprivation makes me laugh! Total output: .50 ml :) aside from attempted nursing sessions!

Day 4

So exhausted....baby has latched and stays surprisingly well for pretty long periods of time... And she will only take 3 mayyyyyybe 4 per bottle when she was chugging 6-5 oz of formula down...only got a .40 out put today but I'm not gonna stress it....I can only hope it will come in soon...

Day 3

Ok so I'm a bit late in documenting buttttt anyone starting this journey can agree it's not easy but it CAN be done.As a new mommy I did this whole breastfeeding thing WRONG and need to work my way backwards in order to go forward.My daughter was born at 36 weeks via emergency c section. My milk didn't come in... And I made a decision I will always regret. I gave her formula... Being a nicu baby she was given a "nifty" paci and well the poor kids confused.... We then go home only to be frustrated by 45+ min breastfeeding sessions...which in retrospect I should have sucked them up. I discovered she was allergic to her supplemental formula so we switch around alot and in this shifting my milk supply plumbits...baby won't latch at all bc there's no milk... :(After all this I made a decision to relactate. After all she's only 4 mths. And does a billion times better on breast milk.... Here's our story...Day 3 of domperidone 4 tabs 3x a day.Day 1: .11 mlDay 2: .25 mlDay 3: .44 ml
